The Southern Illinois Hunter and Fisherman

My name is Trevor Cockrum, and I grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois.  Growing up my grandfather started teaching me from a very young age how to hunt and fish.  I developed a great love for these activities; a love that I do not believe will ever go away.  Once I graduated high school I enlisted in the United States Air Force and moved away from my quiet little home town.  No matter how much I traveled and no matter how many different experiences I had nothing took away my love for hunting and fishing in the Mid West.  My purpose for creating this website is to share information on hunting and fishing events, techniques, and new equipment.  I would also love to share my hunting and fishing experiences with all of you as well as give you the opportunity to share your experiences.
